We were lucky enough to chat with the Turkesterone team to find out more about this ecdysteroid which is taking the bodybuilding industry by storm.
We've been in the fitness space for 15+ years. When we saw that Turkesterone was catching people's attention – we wanted to ensure that people both had factual, researched information to make decisions on and quality sourced products to choose from. That was the reason we started Turkesterone.com and invested in the research, sourcing, and testing that we've done.
Turkesterone isn’t a steroid. It’s completely legal and isn’t banned by WADA. There are some concerns on their end that Turkesterone is too effective but as of this interview – it's not banned by any organization we know about. You can see more details on our research page.
We've built the most comprehensive guide to Turkesterone which you can check out on our website. However, in short – Turkesterone has relatively limited side effects (usually limited to upset stomach or nausea as you would get with other supplements taken on an empty stomach). It doesn’t have any of the androgenic issues that most anabolic compounds do – which is why people are finding it so attractive.
As far as efficacy, some people like Andrew Huberman and Derek from More Plates More Dates have called the results similar to anabolic steroids – but there needs to be more research on it in order for people to make more conclusive claims.
If you want to read some of the esoteric literature and research on the compounds, we cover both Turkesterone and Ecdysterone (a sister compound) on our site.
Turkesterone has been around for decades but has primarily gotten a lot of interest (and criticism) in the last year due to the excitement around it generated by several youtube personalities.
Men primarily use Turkesterone. To our knowledge – there haven't been individualized studies for Turkesterone between men and women.
Unlike other supplement shops out there – we focus primarily on Turkesterone to keep our quality high. You can check out our flagship product Turk at https://turkesterone.com/products/turk/
We're really excited about the promises of Turkesterone for the future. Like any new supplement on the market – it needs more research too – but we're excited to not only watch the space develop, but also help move it forward.
