The keto diet is extremely effective for weight loss, but only when done right. It usually involves meticulous meal planning and calculating your protein and carb intake, which can get exhausting pretty fast.
Luckily, with the right keto meal delivery service, you don’t have to do all that. You just submit your meal order and enjoy the meals that reach your doorstep. Plus, all high-quality keto-friendly services provide clear information on nutrition facts, so it’s easy to keep track of your macros.
There are plenty of keto-friendly meal delivery services on the market, and I found some of the best. I worked hard together with our experts and created a list of the best keto meal delivery services based on menu variety, prices, meal types, and other important criteria.
Factor is my first choice because it offers high-quality ingredients and unparalleled convenience. It also provides welcome support to new and existing clients through coaching sessions. But, of course, there are other impressive keto-friendly services out there. So make sure to check my entire list!

Factor offers top-quality, nutritious dishes made with high-quality ingredients. The menu of fully prepared meals features a good selection of veggie, low-calorie, and plant-based options. There are also many keto-friendly options each week.
Factor has a dedicated Keto plan with a good range of around 15 meals each week. Factor's menu changes weekly, so you'll never get bored of eating the same meals and you can mix and match with the other plans if you’re not strict about always eating keto (or you live with someone who has other dietary needs).
Factor also has a variety of add-ons, ranging from breakfast options to smoothies, juices, cooked proteins, and desserts. Many of these add-ons are keto-friendly, so it's a nice way to upgrade your order.
The service publishes upcoming menus up to 4 weeks in advance, giving you plenty of time to plan your mealtimes. There are also Gourmet Plus-labeled recipes for a more premium dining experience for a surcharge. These aren’t always keto but it’s worth checking them out for special occasions.
The dishes use high-quality ingredients sourced from trustworthy suppliers. There are plenty of gluten-free, soy-free, and refined-sugar-free options on the menu. Everything is prepared by pro chefs and tailored by dietitians.
The meals arrive chilled (not frozen) and will stay fresh for a full 7 days in the fridge. They’re great for a filling work lunch or dinner or to refuel post-workout.
You can schedule a free 20-min consultation with an in-house nutrition coach. This comes in handy if you’re new to the keto diet world and want to learn what works and what doesn’t. Find out what my colleague thought when they gave Factor a try!
Factor can be on the pricey side, depending on how many meals you order per week. However, keep in mind that you're paying for quality ingredients and convenience.
If you order 18 meals per week (the maximum box size), the cost drops down to $103.41. This is a bit more affordable compared to smaller orders (6 meals per week is the minimum you can order).
Sustainable, non-GMO ingredients and organic produce
Over a dozen keto recipes to choose from each week
Other dietary options include gluten-free, vegan, and more
Current deal: Enjoy 50% Off + Free Shipping + 20% Off For 2 Months!
Green Chef offers a wide range of low-prep meal kits for budding cooks who want some help in the kitchen. What’s more, the company sources only organic and other top-quality ingredients from suppliers it regularly checks.
Green Chef offers a dedicated plan for keto dieters, but you’re free to choose whichever recipes you like. Most keto-friendly meals are low-carb and gluten-free without grains or soy. Also, the maximum carb content is limited to less than 35 g of carbs per serving.
The core menu includes around 10 to 12 recipes with a keto tag. It may be possible to make other meals keto-friendly with at-home ingredient swaps. You’ll only need 20 to 30 minutes to turn the ingredients included in most meal kits into a delicious dinner.
Use the Add-Ons section to craft your own meals. Here, you’ll find a wide range of cooked proteins (seafood, pork, chicken, and beef), breakfasts, 10-min lunches, and keto-friendly desserts and snacks.
All the meals come with measured and (sometimes) pre-prepped ingredients. The meal kits also include premade sauces, marinades, and spice blends, so you can have dinner on the table in 30 minutes or less. According to my colleague’s tried-and-tested Green Chef review, the recipes are also super easy to follow, with helpful tips and photos.
Green Chef is also a certified organic company that delivers organic produce and eggs whenever possible. You’ll find organic chicken, pork, and beef in the Add-Ons section. Any conventional meat, fish, and seafood are always responsibly sourced and non-GMO.
You'll love this service if you don't mind paying a little more for healthy meals. The meals are delicious, drawing inspiration from global culinary traditions, including French, Middle Eastern, and Mexican cuisines.
The service delivers across the US, and shipping is a flat fee of $9.99 no matter the size of your order. However, the price per serving is influenced by how much you order. For instance, you’ll pay $9.99 per serving if you order 4 meals for 6 people per week (the maximum box size). Smaller orders have a higher per-serving cost.
Great for specific dietary needs
150 dishes on the menu, plus snacks
Dietary options include gluten-free, low-calorie, diabetes-friendly, keto, and others
BistroMD is a meal delivery service specifically designed for dieting and weight loss. BistroMD’s meal plans have been developed by a doctor with decades of experience in weight loss, and all the recipes are designed in collaboration with a team of registered dietitians.
There are more than 150 frozen chef-prepared meals on BistroMD’s menu. But if you opt for the Keto Flex program, you’ll find over 85 menu options. Breakfast options include the Cheese Omelet with Turkey Sausage and the Mediterranean Chicken Crepe. Lunch/Dinner entrees include the Grilled Chicken with Buffalo Sauce and Hickory Smoked BBQ Pork with Broccoli (pictured above).
For Keto dieters, the menu features a selection of meals that average 1,200 to 1,400 daily calories. Each serving fits within the limits of 15-20 g of carbs, 25-30 g of protein, and 10-15 g of healthy fats. And each meal includes up to 500 mg of sodium per serving.
While you’ll find some new additions from time to time, this is a rotating menu. So if you stick with it long enough, you’ll eventually repeat certain meals. For more information, check out my colleague’s extensive BistroMD review.
BistroMD offers 7 specialized programs, including Keto Flex. The programs are designed for weight loss through a low-calorie diet for men and women. It also has programs for a healthy heart, people with gluten sensitivities and celiac, people going through menopause, people suffering from or trying to prevent diabetes, and vegans.
Customization options aren’t available since each recipe is meticulously planned and portioned for a calorie-conscious diet. However, you get to pick the meals you’ll enjoy each week from your selected plan. You can also change your plan at any time.
Overall, BistroMD is super convenient, especially with a strict diet like keto. I like Green Chef as an alternative if you prefer meal kits to microwavable meals.
You can also decide how many single-serving meals per week you want. Choose between 2 or 3 meals for 5 or 7 days per plan, which can total up to 20 weekly dishes for a full 7-day plan, plus snacks. For the remaining My Night, treat yourself to anything you like. However, with prices starting at $6.59 per serving, it’s not the most affordable meal delivery service out there.
Ready-made meals with healthy ingredients
40+ meals weekly meals
Dietary options include paleo, plant-based, traditional, and keto
Eat Clean specializes in providing nutritionally balanced meals that help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Its recipes are ready-made and perfectly portioned to support a healthy lifestyle.
The menu offers an extensive selection of oven- and microwave-ready dishes. The recipes span different cuisines, from American to Chinese, Cuban, Indian, and Hawaiian-inspired recipes. Meals on the menu are divided into 4 diet plans: Keto, Plant Based, Paleo, and Traditional.
The Keto menu includes around 20 ready-made meals per week, including breakfasts and entrees. Each meal is specially designed to fit the requirements of the Keto diet. For instance, you can have Dark Chocolate Chip Keto Pancakes for breakfast (258 calories and 5 g of carbs) and Sugar-Free Asian Chicken with Herb Garlic Spaghetti Squash for lunch or dinner (238 calories and 10 g of carbs).
Each serving includes high-quality protein. You’ll find chicken breast, pulled pork, grass-fed ground beef shrimp, turkey sausage, and more. The Plant Based menu includes veggie-based proteins like beans and chickpeas.
According to my colleague’s review, you can choose the portion size you want. Eat Clean offers 2 portion sizes: Regular Size for individuals and Large Size for couples or small families.
Note that you can’t mix and match meals from different plans. So, if you aren’t strict about the keto diet, you may be better off with Factor’s restaurant-quality dishes.
Eat Clean is worth a try because it's 1 of the meal delivery services that offers a large number of keto-friendly meals. Another standout feature is the ability to customize the portion size, which isn't something you'll come across very often.
Prices start at $4.30 per serving with the maximum meal plan (20 meals per week). If you want to order a smaller box, Eat Clean also offers between 6 and 14 meals in batches of 2 per week. Remember that the price per serving will increase for smaller orders.
The service delivers prepared meals
15+ keto meals per week – plus customization options
Other dietary plans include Mediterranean, diabetes-friendly, and vegetarian
Ketogenic Diet-to-Go offers chef-prepared keto meals delivered right to your doorstep. This service was designed for people seeking weight loss and healthier eating habits who don’t want to deal with the fuss of prep and cooking.
You can choose between 5 meal plans: Balance, Balance-Diabetes, Vegetarian, Mediterranean, and Keto-Carb30. The Keto-Carb30 plan is perfect for keto dieters as the daily meals are designed to include less than 30 g of net carbs and around 1,300 calories per day.
The service balances good flavor with calorie-controlled recipes. You’ll be able to enjoy classic, tasty dishes like Spinach Quiche, Chicken Fontina, or Chicken Italiano. All meals rotate on a 5-week cycle to provide variety in your diet.
While customizing your meal plan, you can choose to get 2 or 3 meals a day, 5 or 7 days a week. If you opt for 2 meals a day, you’ll get lunches and dinners. You can also choose to exclude seafood if you’re intolerant or just don't like it.
Ketogenic Diet-to-Go also offers a free diet analysis. Fill out an online form, and the company will break down each aspect of your dietary habits/needs and send you the results via email. With these results, you can design a meal plan tailored to your exact dietary needs.
The company doesn't offer meal customization options, which is common for diet services. Each recipe is nutritionally balanced and designed to respect the keto diet’s requirements. Plus, you can book a call with an on-staff dietitian if you have questions regarding food allergies or sensitivities.
Diet-to-Go’s Keto-Carb30 has something for everybody, so you won’t get bored. The microwavable meals are incredibly convenient, and the plan offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, so your entire day (and week) is covered. Find out what my colleague thought of the dishes when they explored Diet-to-Go’s Keto-Carb30 plan.
Prices start at $4.60 per serving for the 7-day meal plan with 3 meals per day. You also receive a nice discount for the first order, which makes it a little more tolerable for your wallet.
Home Chef is another high-ranking keto meal delivery service on my list. At first glance, it has fewer keto-friendly meals on its menu than many of its competitors. But you can customize most of them by replacing key ingredients, which expands the menu for keto dieters considerably.
Each week, the menu has several keto-friendly meals (look for the Keto-Friendly tag). These include super-speedy meal kits like Pork Enchilada Lettuce Wraps or Teriyaki Salmon with Broccoli and Bok Choy.
There are also more traditional recipes, like the Pesto-Parmesan Chicken with Tuscan-Style Green Beans. Depending on your choices, recipes take anywhere from 10 to 45+ minutes.
Home Chef’s Carb Conscious menu includes a good selection of low-carb dishes (less than 32 g of carbs per serving). Just click on the Carb Conscious tag at the top of the menu to filter it. You can also look out for the carb-conscious icon (a slice of bread) on individual recipes.
Home Chef displays allergens for each recipe, so it’s easy to avoid dishes that might not sit well with you. You also get plenty of customization options, including the ability to swap, upgrade, or double-up on the protein in almost all recipes with the Customize It feature.
There’s also a well-stocked section of Extras, with options for breakfasts, lunches, smoothies, desserts, snacks, and more. Just keep in mind that each extra is an added cost to your weekly box since these are priced separately. The same is true for some of the customization options.
Home Chef offers a whole range of low-prep options, including oven- and grill-ready dishes and 15-minute meal kits. My colleague’s tried-and-tested Home Chef review goes into more detail about the menu and its varying meal types.
Meals are individually priced, but most are fairly budget-friendly, starting at $9.99 per serving. With a maximum box size of 6 meals for 6 people, Home Chef is a good option for families of all sizes. But it also caters to couples, even individuals) with a minimum order of 4 dishes (2 meals for 2 people).
Blue Apron is 1 of the best meal delivery services on the market for many reasons. It excels at providing flavorsome meals for people with different dietary needs, including those on a keto diet.
Blue Apron offers meal kits and prepared dishes. If you choose the Prepared & Ready plan when you land on the menu, you can set a Keto Friendly preference. There’s also a Carb Conscious preference for meals with less than 30g of net carbohydrates per serving.
However, the Meal Kit plan doesn’t have a preference for keto or low-carb meals – although you may be able to find some on the menu if you check through each recipe individually. As with all meal kit services, there’s always the option to make some at-home swaps while you’re cooking.
Blue Apron posts its upcoming offerings 4 weeks in advance. This gives you plenty of time to see if there are suitable keto dishes. For a larger assortment of keto-friendly dishes, I recommend checking out Factor.
The dishes use high-quality ingredients sourced from trustworthy suppliers. There are plenty of gluten-free, soy-free, and refined-sugar-free options on the menu. Everything is prepared by pro chefs and tailored by dietitians.
Blue Apron is 1 of the most eco-friendly meal delivery services on the market. The website states that about 85% of each package can be recycled (by weight). Also, the service collaborates with How2Recycle® in order to implement a widely accepted recycling program. Take a look at our full tested review for further details.
You can receive recommendations from Blue Apron by selecting the Keto Friendly filter in Plans during account registration. At the same time, you can choose to receive 4, 6, 8, or 10 meals per week. However, 10 weekly recipes is not a hard cap, as you can manually add more meals.
The cost per meal starts at $4.00. But note that the service's prepared meals are somewhat pricier than that.
Top-quality meat and seafood
Order up to 72 portions in one go
Menu includes steak, chops, fish, and more
Good Chop is a meat delivery service offering premium cuts of meat and fish. It doesn’t offer the same convenience as prepared meals or meal kits where you’ll receive all of the ingredients to make a meal each week. But it is a great way to have high-quality meat on hand to create keto-friendly meals at home.
You’ll find dozens of protein cuts on the menu each week. These include ribeye steak, bavette steaks, burger patties, pork chops, pork loin, sausages, ribs, and a variety of chicken. There’s plenty of seafood to choose from as well, from salmon to scallops.
Pay attention to labels that introduce premium and most sought-after meats. The Premium Cut label marks the finest cuts the meat delivery service has to offer. Other useful labels include Best Seller, New, and Limited Quantity.
The company also accompanies its meats with tags highlighting their top qualities. These include USDA Choice and MSC Certified tags. Other tags I find helpful are Angus, Wild-Caught, 100% Grass-Fed, and Heritage Breed.
There are 3 order sizes, and all boxes are pretty large. A medium box allows you up to 36 portions (or 14 lbs), a large box up to 72 portions (or 28 lbs), and an extra large box up to 108 portions (or 42 lbs). Meat arrives frozen so it’ll keep for a while, but make sure you have plenty of freezer space. Our in-depth Good Chop review covers what you can expect from each delivery.
Good Chop works on a subscription basis, but unlike most meal services that operate weekly, you’ll get a delivery every 4 weeks instead. This explains why each delivery is much larger. If you don’t think you’ll get through all of the meat in time, you can easily pause or cancel your subscription.
All meat is sourced from American farms, and nothing is imported, so Good Chop can keep its standards high. There are no antibiotics or added hormones and meat is responsibly raised, while seafood is sustainably harvested. The website is very transparent about its credentials, so you can order meat knowing you’re getting the very best.
Prices start at $3.74 per portion. Overall prices can look quite high, but bear in mind that you’re buying a month’s worth of meat in bulk. In my opinion, if you have the budget for premium protein, it’s a convenient investment for anyone following the keto diet.

There’s a keto meal delivery service out there for you whether you’re new to the keto diet and looking for an easy way to start or a keto-pro looking to broaden your horizons. I’ll walk you through a few of the key factors to look out for.
Prepared meals vs. meal kits: If you desire ultimate convenience and zero-prep, look for services that provide prepared meals. If you aim to improve your cooking skills or want to customize your dishes, seek out meal kits. Green Chef is a great example of a meal kit service with a solid keto-friendly offer.
Variety: One of the hardest things about the keto diet is that it can become monotonous and make you not want to eat steak with a side of veggies ever again! A meal delivery service with a weekly-changing menu, like Factor, can help keep your meals fresh and interesting. For those with fixed menus, make sure there’s enough variety that you won’t get bored.
Flexibility: Easy cancelation, pausing your subscription, and changing the date of your delivery are all important for a high-quality meal delivery service, particularly if you decide to come off keto for a while.
Budget: It goes without saying that you should choose a meal delivery service that isn’t going to blow your weekly grocery budget. Consider shipping costs, too, when totaling up whether or not a service is affordable for you.
Meals from services that offer keto-specific plans tend to start from around $8.99 per serving. On my list, Eat Clean is among the most affordable options, but you have to consider other criteria to find the best keto meal delivery for your needs.
Look for a dedicated keto meal plan or for low-carb options. All of the services on my list offer keto meals, however, some will have a dedicated keto meal plan, like Green Chef or Factor. Others, like Home Chef, offer low-carb meals without a named plan.
Yes, many meal delivery services offer customization options. However, services that offer dedicated keto meal plans with ready-made meals, like Eat Clean, don’t allow room for customization. That’s because each meal is carefully crafted to meet the nutritional requirements of the keto diet.
