My mom is part of the reason I am a women’s wellness empowerment coach. I have always been health conscious and heavily involved with living a healthy lifestyle and working out. My mother was diagnosed with being diabetic and it changed my outlook on life because I saw how much my mother was suffering. She experienced symptoms such as dizziness & temporary loss of vision. She was on a few medications prescribed via her doctor. I decided to halt my my mother from all medications after doing research on holistic healers that found a solution to cure diabetes naturally as I felt the medications were not helping her. I wanted to help my mother so she can live a healthier and longer lifestyle. I changed her to diet to more of a vegan lifestyle and began making her burdock root tea daily. A littler over a year later her doctor told her she was pre-diabetic after changing her diet to mainly fruits & vegetables.
For myself, I lost 30 pounds going vegan which lead me to a spiritual journey of getting in touch with my mind, body and soul. I began meditating, journaling, wanting to understand my purpose more in this life. As I did my own self-discovery I realized I wanted to help women to the same.
A holistic approach to health and wellness to me, is incorporating your mind, body and soul. It is looking at each individual and knowing they will all have different needs for their journey. I incorporate movement, food lifestyle changes, emotional support and mindfulness to my clients. I am a one stop shop. Focusing on the mind, body and soul influences my coaching to make a tailored program or retreat for the women I serve. Everyone has different wants or needs on their journey and I like getting to the root of what their why is and then working with the individual from there.
Absolutely, I worked with a client who is a mom of 2 and a business owner, she was very busy, and didn’t want her health to suffer because of it. She began working with me to establish healthy habits so that whether she was traveling, attending events, or having a busy day at home, she knew how to prioritize her wellbeing. I helped my client support her nervous system with herbs, healthy food swaps, and connected her to vegan chefs so she didn’t have to miss out on her favorite foods.I helped her feel empowered in her food choices no matter what environment she was in.
When my clients share with me their testimonials it moves me to know I am following my purpose. When women feel empowered to put themselves first on their wellness journey it allows them to make better choices for themselves and family. This motivates me to want to help more women so they can live healthier lives. I am helping families live longer and feel better.
I educate them through wellness workshops at my sacred circles during retreats. I like to make things fun so it can be a workshop where we make tea together and discuss how certain herbs help women diminish their menstrual cramps or have them make their own facial oils while I tell them what the health benefits are of the essential oils. By having them make their own product it brings in self- efficiency on their wellness journeys. I also, love asking journaling questions and then having a discussion on what is coming up for the client and providing suggestions on how they can eat better or de-stress. Educating should be a two way street, I learn from my clients just as much as they learn from me. I am about building relationships in our sacred circles.
I emphasize giving my clients grace and having a positive mindset around their choices. Women are always quick to shame themselves when they mess up. I teach them about self- love and taking small sustainable habits to reach their goals. When they extend grace to themselves if they make an unhealthy choice and know that the next moment is a chance to make a better one they feel more empowered. Life is about moments so one mistake does not mean they are unhealthy it was just a bad approach.
1:1 is about accountability coaching this is for the person that wants solo attention to work on their mindset, self love and food lifestyle changes. They could want more vegan recipes and understand the basics of starting their wellness journey.
Wellness retreats are for working women looking for community while wanting to expand on their wellness journey. For retreats we cook together, have essential oils classes, journal, watch movies plus much more! It is a more intimate setting with women wanting to grow with each other and network.
VIP Holistic Days is for the busy working woman who just wants 5-6 hours to reset her wellness. During this intensive day we setup an apothecary of herbs to support her womb health and overall immunity, cook simple foods together, do some movement activity, journal and discuss the challenges she is currently facing and how to pivot. Not everyone wants 3-4 month programs so I created this for the person who wants some knowledge on how to take care of themselves but may not be ready to commit to something long term yet.
All of these programs meet the client where they are which is what I am all about. I do not want to force a woman down her wellness path, I want to encourage her to choose what works best for her. My vision is to have women understand they can be in control of their well-being and these offers provide that. I love building tribes of women who are confident in what they are eating, thinking and feeling. I know in the future I will create an online membership community for all of my clients plus more to be able to interact with each other all over the world to share our journeys and support each other through our challenges. My coaching style is to make my offers not about me but about we, the working women who are trying to build a life for themselves while remaining healthy.
