Canceling your Trifecta account is easy and should normally take only a few minutes of your time. That’s the case even if you used Trifecta’s special discount.
You have to directly contact Trifecta’s customer service to cancel your subscription, which is unlike the majority of other meal delivery services. The site has a few options, including phone and live chat. I’ll walk you through the best process below.
You might want to try another meal delivery service after canceling your Trifecta account. I think that Factor would make the best alternative as it also offers prepared meals created by nutritionists and cooked by experienced chefs. You can even schedule a free 20-minute session with a certified dietitian, which is something Trifecta doesn’t offer.

Contact Trifecta’s customer support team – Go to Trifecta's website. Contact the support team via phone, email, or live chat (between 8 am to 5 pm PST). In hours, you can chat with a representative, otherwise, you’ll be prompted to leave a message.
State that you want to unsubscribe – A member of the team will walk you through the cancelation process. After, you’ll receive a confirmation email.
You need to reach out to customer service to cancel your account, as we found out the hard way when we tested Trifecta. You can contact them by phone, live chat, or email.
The quickest way to cancel your Trifecta account is through live chat or phone. Agents are available to assist you from 8 am to 5 pm PST, 7 days a week. If you need to cancel outside of those hours, the live chat will allow you to leave a message or you can send an email directly to [email protected] with your cancelation request, and they'll process it as soon as possible.
Author note: Whether you cancel by chat, email, or phone, make sure you submit your request at least 7 days in advance. Otherwise, your next order will be in process, and you won't be able to cancel or skip it.
I canceled via live chat within the hours of operation, but all agents were unavailable. Here’s how it worked:
1. Access live chat – Sign into your account and navigate to your dashboard. This is optional, but it will allow you to check when your next order is due. Be sure to cancel before Friday at 11:59 PM PT (the Friday prior to the scheduled delivery). In the bottom-right corner, click on Live Chat to open the window. You can also access live chat on the Trifecta site without signing in.
2. Speak with an agent or leave a message – Live chat operates 8 am - 5 pm PST. However, even if you contact Trifecta during those hours, a customer support agent may not be available. If this happens, you’ll be prompted to leave a message instead. In the email field, include the email associated with your Trifecta account. In the “How can we help?” field, submit a statement saying you want to cancel your subscription. When finished, hit Submit.
3. Wait for a response from customer services – Once you send your message, the live chat window will confirm that your case has been submitted. The team will reply to the email address in the message.
4. An email will confirm your cancelation – A customer support agent will confirm you cancelation. I received this email within an hour of submitting the initial message. If you’ve put in your request ahead of the cut-off deadline, it’s effective immediately. You may also receive a survey for feedback. If you ever want to reactivate your account, simply reply to the confirmation email (I was promised a welcome-back discount this way).
Like Trifecta, Factor offers chef-prepared meals designed by a team of expert nutritionists and caters to many of the same health diets. Meals can be prepared in a few minutes, and, unlike Trifecta, you can also shop a range of extras and add-ons including smoothies, breakfasts, desserts, and extra protein. Check out our tested review for the details on how the meals reheated (and tasted).
Factor's menu features a selection of 35 weekly meals across 6 plans. These include some similar diets to Trifecta, such as keto and vegan. However, Factor also includes Flexitarian, Protein Plus, and Calorie Smart options. You can mix and match these different diet plans, the same as Trifecta. You can also book a free 20-minute coaching session if you're unsure which diet suits you.
You can easily cancel your Factor subscription and, unlike Trifecta, you can do it all automatically online without speaking to someone. Factor’s pricing depends on the number of meals you order each week, with larger orders lowering the per-meal price. The best-value option offers 18 single-serving meals for $103.41 on your first purchase if you use our link.
Trifecta includes organic ingredients where possible, but it doesn’t have a certification like Green Chef, which is certified by the CCOF (California Certified Organic Farmers). You're likely to find top organic eggs and produce in Green Chef’s meal kits. Plus, the company caters to many of the same diets as Trifecta, including vegan, vegetarian, and keto. You can learn more about the ingredient quality in our tested review.
Green Chef has over 45 meal kits that rotate every week on its menu. These kits require cooking, unlike Trifecta’s meals which you can just heat and eat. It has 8 categories that cater to different dietary needs and you can mix and match between plans. While Green Chef doesn’t allow for customization, meal kits are much more flexible than prepared meals. You can substitute or leave out any unwanted ingredients at home during the preparation process.
Green Chef is a premium service, but meal kits tend to work out cheaper than prepared meals. The price per serving also decreases as you increase the order size. The largest order is 4 meals for 6 people, starting at $9.99 per serving. Once you’ve tried it out, you can easily deactivate your Green Chef subscription via your account's settings.
Eat Clean offers organic, prepared meals for a range of diets. It’s similar to Trifecta in that it offers meals for keto, paleo, and plant-based diets and a Traditional menu for a more balanced diet. All meals arrive fully prepared and just need a few minutes in the microwave. Meals can also be heated in the oven but will need 25 to 35 minutes. In our tested review, we try out both methods.
Unlike Trifecta, meals can be ordered in Regular or Large sizes. The larger size would be ideal if you’re bulking up and need a bigger portion or may be enough to provide a regular portion for 1 meal with leftovers for lunch the next day. The option for different portion sizes is available on all 4 plans. You must choose a plan when signing up and, unlike Trifecta, you can’t mix and match between plans.
Prices start at $4.30 per serving and meals arrive in single portions. You can order from 6 to 20 meals per week on every plan. The price per serving reduces as you order more meals, so if you have space in your refrigerator, I’d recommend placing a large order.
