In the midst of a time when all social interactions moved online, the desire to share a drink with friends became a cherished wish. It was during this unique wine-tasting experience that Alex, with his pure, soulful wines, managed to bring people together, sharing not just his expertise but a sense of camaraderie in a virtual space. At the beginning of the lockdown, I attended a virtual wine tasting hosted by our friend Alex. I think I was so excited about the prospect of gathering with friends, even if only through Zoom, that the event loomed in my subconscious and made its way into my dreams. That night, after the tasting, I dreamt that my husband and I collaborated with Alex to create our own beverage. The next morning when I woke up, we ran into Alex at the beach. I told him about the dream I had and we decided to give it a go.
