How to Cancel Your BistroMD Orders – A Quick Guide
Sign in and open your account settings – Log in on the BistroMD website with your email and password. Navigate to the Your Plan page, then select Cancel Subscription.
Choose a reason for leaving – Select your reason for leaving from the dropdown menu, then hit Continue. Add any extra comments on the next page, then click the Cancel Program button. A pop-up and email will confirm your cancelation.

Step-By-Step: How to Cancel BistroMD
You can easily cancel BistroMD online. You don’t need to contact customer service, but you do need to ensure you complete the process before Wednesday 5 pm Eastern Time the week before your next delivery.
1. Sign in and go to the Your Plan page – Sign in to your account on the BistroMD website and navigate to your account settings. On the Your Plan page, click on the Cancel Subscription link.
2. Select a reason for leaving – BistroMD will offer options to contact customer service or skip your next delivery. To continue with the cancelation, scroll down to the dropdown menu and select a reason for leaving. Then click Continue.
3. Add further comments – Type any comments in the white box, then hit Cancel Program beneath. If you want to skip adding comments, you can click on the hyperlink at the bottom instead.
4. You’re canceled – A pop-up will confirm your cancelation and you’ll also receive a confirmation email. These will remind you that if you’ve missed the order deadline, you will still receive that order.
What to Do if You Can’t Cancel on the Site
While you aren’t required to contact customer service to cancel, you’re welcome to contact customer service if you have any questions or issues. Customer service is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 8 pm ET and Saturday to Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm ET.

Purple Carrot’s prepared meals are a great alternative to BistroMD’s Vegan plan. Purple Carrot is a 100% plant-based meal delivery service that offers meal kits as well as fully prepared meals. Its microwavable meals only take 2 to 5 minutes to heat and are a good alternative to BistroMD’s prepared vegan offerings.
If you’re leaving BistroMD because you want to cook more, Purple Carrot’s meal kits are a great next step. All its meals are fresh and veggie-centric and there’s even a range of easy-prep meal kits. Prices start at about $11.00 per meal for kits, which is much pricier than BistroMD. What you get for the price is more international cuisine, more allergy considerations, and tastier plant-based recipes with veggies as star flavors.
3. Home Chef – Best for Calorie-Smart and Carb-Smart Meal Kits
If you want to leave BistroMD to cook more, Home Chef might be a good swap. Home Chef doesn’t offer microwavable meals (other than a few prepared lunches) since almost all meals arrive as fresh kits. Meals take an average of 40 minutes to prep, but you can also choose from the Easy Prep section of the menu to see recipes that take 10-25 minutes to prep. You can also filter the menu for Calorie-Smart and Carb-Smart recipes. This is a good option if you still want to maintain a calorie-restricted diet like BistroMD offers. However, Home Chef meals aren’t as calorie-restricted as BistroMD’s.
