Finding the best pescatarian meal delivery services is simpler than you might expect. However, you may have been finding it a bit difficult to sort through the endless dietary options, menus, and filtering systems, and you may have even given up entirely.
The best meal delivery services should make it easy to find meals that fit into the pescatarian diet. In my experience, it should be immediately obvious what ingredients – whether it be veggie, meat, or fish – are in each dish long before you sign up or place your order.
I’ve extensively researched and validated the best pescatarian meal delivery services for this year. All of the services on this shortlist have been tried and tested at home by an expert DeliveryRank reviewer. I’ve found that Factor is the best, as it offers a solid number of weekly pescatarian and vegetarian options, attractive prices, and excellent convenience thanks to its prepared meals.

Factor’s main mission is to provide you with high-quality, prepared meals. It focuses mostly on helping people live healthier lifestyles by losing weight in a sustainable way. This means most of its meals contain fewer than 600 total calories.
Pescatarian meal options include Roasted Red Chile Mahi Mahi with Hominy-Black Bean Succotash and Ancho Lime Crema, or the Herb Cream Cheese Salmon with Red Pepper Cauliflower "Grits" and Broccoli. This is an example of a Gourmet Plus meal.
You can get a much larger selection if you don’t mind veggie or vegan dishes. Generally speaking, your options will nearly double if you enjoy eating meals that don’t necessarily contain any seafood.
Each meal is carefully designed and crafted by professional chefs, and there are plenty of pescatarian and veggie options. For instance, one of my favorite pescatarian meals is the Pesto Salmon with Creamed Spinach and Tomato Butter Haricots Verts. But that’s because I’m a sucker for a good pesto.
Our tested Factor review found that all meals are free of gluten, antibiotics, and hormones, which, to me, spells out that Factor really takes quality seriously. More often than not, prepared meals can be made from less-than-desirable ingredients – but I don’t find that to be the case here.
In my opinion, though, one of Factor’s strong suits is its extras and add-ons. You can buy extra protein, including extra pan-seared salmon. You’ll also find things like egg bites, smoothies, pancakes, veggie tostada bakes, and keto desserts.
Factor has around 3 to 4 fish and seafood meals per week, but you’ll have much more choice if you also eat vegan and veggie dishes as part of your diet.
If any of that sounds good to you, the minimum order is 6 meals per week – but you’re free to order as many as 18 meals at a time. Each meal is intended to be single-serving. The best-value option offers 18 single-serving meals for $103.41 on your first purchase if you use our link. Gourmet Plus meals cost $7.99 extra per meal.
Roughly a half-dozen pescatarian meals per week
USDA-certified organic eggs and veggies
45+ meal kits each week
As a pescatarian, you might like to get USDA-certified organic ingredients. Green Chef could be just the meal delivery service for you. All of its produce and eggs are promised to be certified organic, and its fish is sustainably sourced from high-welfare certified suppliers.
In terms of pescatarian meals, while there are fewer options than some other services, they are all top quality, which is why Green Chef still ranks high on my list. For example, you could opt for the Herbed Barramundi with Schug Sauce Kale Salad or the Pecan-Crusted Sockeye Salmon with Creamy Kale, Shallots, and Roasted Carrots.
There are plenty of veggie and vegan dishes that can suit a pescatarian diet, and you can also find Mediterranean, gluten-free, and even keto-friendly meals. Unfortunately, you can’t swap out meat for seafood in certain dishes, but if you’d like that option, check out Home Chef’s excellent meal customizer.
Green Chef has a great range of international cuisines, including meals like the Creole Crispy Baked Tilapia with roasted potatoes, slaw, dried cranberries, and Creole Dijonnaise. Find out more menu options in our tested Green Chef review.
Green Chef’s meal kits often come with ingredients prepped or pre-chopped, and its sauces are often ready-made. This usually means that the recipes can be prepared in 30 minutes or less, which is pretty good for a service only offering meal kits.
It’s also easy to avoid selecting any dishes containing ingredients you don’t want, like meat products. The menu is clearly labeled with colored tags, so there’s no confusion about exactly what you’re getting. There’s just no tag for pescatarian, so you’ll have to browse the menu meal by meal.
You also get an abundance of sides and add-ons that are pescatarian-friendly. Choose items like oatmeal or egg white bites for breakfast, Cinnamon Crumb Muffins for dessert, or even extra seafood. Seafood add-ons include shrimp, wild-caught sockeye salmon, Barramundi, or tilapia filets.
Lastly, the minimum order here is 3 meals for 2 people per week, but you can order up to 4 meals for 6 people. Your price per serving also reduces the more you order at a time. For instance, for the maximum order, you’ll only pay around $9.99 per serving.
Blue Apron is a great service for those looking for pescatarian meal options. When we tried Blue Apron, we found that it offers a large variety of meals each week, many of which contain fish, seafood, or vegetarian ingredients.
Blue Apron offers a large variety of both meal kits and prepared meals. Most of its meal kits can be prepared in about 30-40 minutes, but some of them also take slightly less time. The prepared meals can be heated up in about 5 minutes or less as well.
But often, it’s easy to think only of fish or seafood when you think of pescatarian. That’s definitely not the case, here. Some other excellent-sounding meals include the Italian-inspired Olive and Fontina Cheese Pizza, Crispy Tilapia and Caper Mayo (yum!), or even the Whole-Grain Pasta and Cauliflower.
You don’t just have to settle for Italian/Mediterranean pescatarian options, either. There’s also a Chinese Oven-Baked Hoisin Eggs and Rice dish, Indian-style Paneer and Veg Tacos, or even Korean-inspired Mushroom Ramen with a soft-boiled egg on top (almost like bibimbap!).
In terms of the actual meals, there’s lots to like about the pescatarian options. For instance, I personally love the option of Seared Salmon and Walnut-Cilantro Sauce. Even as a seasoned cook, I wouldn’t have thought to combine those ingredients. Plus, I think pan-seared salmon tastes infinitely better than oven-baked.
You’re also able to replace different protein options and customize your meals to make them your own. This is especially valuable when you’re following a bit of a stricter pescatarian diet. By the way, if you’re looking for plant-based meal kits or prepared meals, have a look at Purple Carrot instead.
As well as the meals, you can choose from a selection of weekly add-ons, including salads, desserts, snacks, and protein packs. You can also order Meal Kits and Prepared & Ready meals in the Blue Apron Market without signing up for a subscription.
A minimum order for Meal Kits is 2 meals of 2 servings per week, but you can order as many as 5 meals of 4 servings each. If you go for the largest order, you’ll pay roughly $4.00 per serving. The minimum order for Prepared & Ready meals is 4 single servings per week.
Lots of seafood and vegetarian meals
Customize different proteins with seafood or fish
Meal kits that take 20-30 minutes or less
HelloFresh has a specific pescatarian diet plan, so it’s 1 of my favorite meal delivery services for pescatarians. Plus, you can access a very large variety of dinners and lunches, as mentioned in our tested HelloFresh review.
HelloFresh only provides meal kits. However, you might be happy to know that they can all be prepared in 20-30 minutes. And sometimes they can take even less time.
One example of a pescatarian meal that takes very little time is the Speedy Sesame Salmon Rice Bowls, which only takes 15 minutes to put together. This dish comes with a Fast & Fresh tag and proves that cooking fish doesn’t have to be tricky or time-consuming.
There are plenty of cuisines you can choose from, even while sticking to a pescatarian diet. These include dishes meals like the Shrimp, Apricot, and Chickpea Tagine with Zucchini, Almonds, Quinoa, and Chermoula, or the One-Pan Cantina Shrimp Fajitas with Spicy Guacamole and Smoky Red Pepper Crema.
Around half of the menu is more international, and the other half is more basic. This means that, while there’s a solid selection of cuisines, you can still find many classic American dishes your kids will love, too.
I’ve found that it’s also 1 of the most family-friendly meal delivery services, thanks to its large selection of less spicy and exotic recipes. For instance, if you have kids, they may enjoy the Silky Sicilian Penne with Mushrooms, Zucchini, and Tomatoes. I would’ve loved that as a kid.
It does also give you some customization options, but I found them to work a bit differently than some other competitors. You can’t see the available swaps until you’re signed in, but you can replace some of the proteins and sides in your dishes.
It also allows you to opt out of certain ingredients like beef, pork, and seafood and view menu items that fit within your selection(s) before even signing up.
One other thing I want to point out is HelloFresh’s commitment to sustainability. For example, it does its best to reduce food waste, combat climate change, and create innovative and sustainable packaging. As a pescatarian, these things might be important to you.
Finally, the minimum order here is 2 recipes for 2 people per week, up to a max of 6 recipes for 6 people. The best-value box with 6 meals for 4 costs $107.75 with our link, and shipping is a flat fee no matter the order size.
Large variety of pescatarian-friendly meals
Customize meats with seafood or non-meat proteins
Access prepared meals or meal kits
Home Chef is 1 of my favorite meal delivery services for those looking for specific diet plans, like pescatarian. When we tested Home Chef, we were impressed with the large number of rotating weekly options.
Some pescatarian dishes and cuisines include the Honey Mustard Glazed Salmon and Fried Mahi-Mahi with Pickle Remoulade (both of which are French-inspired), Chinese-style Orange Garlic Shrimp, and the Italian-influenced veggie Creamy Tomato Skillet Lasagna.
If you like cooking, Home Chef offers several meal kit options, many of which can be prepared in 15 minutes or less. These include anything from pasta, stir fry, tacos, flatbreads, burrito skillets, flautas, risotto, and even soups.
You can also get meals that don’t require any cooking at all with oven- and grill-ready options. This can help you save a ton of time and hassle if you’re in a rush.
I’d say that around one-quarter of the menu works for pescatarians. There’s an abundance of veggie options, plus options for those who like seafood or fish.
Not only that, but you’re also welcome to replace the protein in many meals. You can swap meat-based protein for options like salmon, seafood, or meat alternatives called Impossible Burger. This allows you to get the exact meal that’ll suit your pescatarian preferences.
For instance, you can get shrimp instead of beef with the Sticky Honey Garlic Sesame Steak Strips with Jasmine Rice and Bok Choy.
If you want add-ons, extras, and sides, there are loads of those, too. For instance, you’re looking at things like smoothies, latte products, soups, salads, desserts like lava cake, snacks like pretzel bites, quiches, brekkies like frittata, sourdough bread, and tons more.
Home Chef remains a reasonably affordable service. The minimum order is 2 meals for 2 people per week, up to a maximum of 6 meals for 6 people. Per serving prices start at $9.99 per serving.
BistroMD does things a bit differently, as it’s focused on weight loss. It doesn’t offer the absolute largest section of pescatarian-friendly meals, but the meals have at least been designed by dietitians. See what we thought when we gave BistroMD a try.
I’d say around one-third to one-half of the meals are made up of pescatarian-friendly meals. These meals come with lots of different options for sides like pasta, rice, cabbage, green beans, potatoes, cauliflower, carrots, and more.
There are still a respectable number of fully prepared pescatarian meals. Each meal is portion-controlled, so if your goal is to go pescatarian to lose weight, there’s no weighing individual ingredients or counting calories involved.
Some of the best pescatarian options I’ve found include the Jerk Spiced Tilapia with Mango Pineapple Salsa, the Barramundi Seabass with Sweet Coconut Pineapple Sauce (pictured below), and the Grilled Salmon with Creamy Pesto. It’s nice to see a variety of cuisines like this rather than simply making each fish-based dish boring, classic American-inspired.
BistroMD is a great choice for dieters. If you want to lose weight, BistroMD provides a number of nutritionally balanced pescatarian and vegetarian options. Instead of unhealthy and tasteless processed food, you get fresh, flash-frozen low-calorie meals made with vegetables and seafood.
However, BistroMD isn’t suitable for kids. Since it’s a weight loss program designed for men and women, the target market isn’t kids. Children have different caloric requirements than adults, so it’s worth consulting with your pediatrician before placing them on any sort of weight loss diet.
Single-serving meals also aren’t very budget-friendly for families, in general. For more budget-friendly meal kits that don’t take very long, I recommend having a closer look at Dinnerly, instead.
The minimum order is enough lunches and dinners for 5 days – but there are several different configurations. You can get lunches and dinners for 7 days, or the Full Program (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) for 5 or 7 days, too. If you go with the Full Plan for 7 days, you’ll pay about $6.59 per serving.
Plenty of fish- and vegetarian-specific meals
45+ weekly meals
Mains, sides, snacks, and desserts available
Marley Spoon has high standards when it comes to your meals and ingredients. If you check out our full review, you’ll see that it has 1 of the largest menus of any competitor, and many of those recipes are pescatarian, vegetarian, or even vegan.
Each meal on the menu has specific tags that denote what exactly you’ll be getting – be it pescatarian, vegetarian, or anything else. This makes it super quick for you to pinpoint what you want. However, do keep in mind that there isn’t a way to filter down the menu, so you’ll have to look at each meal individually.
You can mostly only choose meal kits here, though it does offer a few prepared meals per week. If you’re looking for an abundance of heat-and-eat pescatarian meals, Marley Spoon won’t be the best option for you – but that’s not really what it’s all about. The meal kits deliver some of the highest quality out there.
Something else that impressed me is Marley Spoon’s selection of other items as well as main meals. For example, you can choose from lots of sides, snacks, and desserts as well, so you’ll have something to eat any time of day.
Marley Spoon’s meal kits can all be prepared in 30 minutes or less. For me, I don’t mind that as much because it’s not a huge demand on your time if you have a busy schedule or a large family.
It’s also recently introduced a customization feature. For example, the Shrimp Tikka Masala with Peas and Rice can be sent to you with wild-caught shrimp instead.
Pescatarian-friendly add-ons include cheesecake pies, coffee cake muffins, Overnight Oats, Caramelized Banoffee Tart, veggie pot pies, and lots more.
Finally, the minimum Marley Spoon order is 2 meals for 2 people per week, up to a maximum of 6 meals for 4 people. If you do choose the maximum order, you can expect a price of only around $4.99 per serving.
Dinnerly is the single most affordable meal delivery service in the US, and it has lots of pescatarian meal options. Around 20+ meals on the menu are labeled as Vegetarian, and you can find around 5-10 fish-based options at any given time as well.
Cuisines on offer include Latin American-inspired, Japanese, Italian, French-influenced, Middle Eastern, classic American, and many more. One of the nicest things about Dinnerly is that around 80% (or more) of its meals are kid-friendly, too. I didn’t find that the meals were overly spicy, or that they contained lots of fancy, exotic ingredients.
Other meal tags include gluten-free, Healthy, Nutritious, and One Pot meals for extra convenience. As a matter of fact, for such an affordable service, I’m surprised to see such a large number of high-quality ingredients like veggies, good carbs, and lots of seafood and fish.
We tested Dinnerly and noted that the meals come in the form of meal kits or prepared meals. However, keep in mind that there really isn’t a very large selection of prepared meals – and most of them aren’t suitable for your pescatarian preference. You may have to stick with the meal kits.
Dinnerly really shines by being very family-friendly. Perhaps not everyone in your household is a pescatarian. In that case, you can choose from an abundance of dishes with meat, or even vegan ones.
You could also choose from lots of other dietary preferences without having to sacrifice your pescatarian diet. For example, take the Shrimp and Udon Stir-Fry which is also a “Speedy Recipe!”. It’s low-calorie with around 550 calories, dairy-free, and only takes 30 minutes or less to prepare.
The minimum order here is 3 meals for 2 people per week, but you’re free to get as many as 6 meals for 4 people per week.
Not only is Dinnerly already super affordable, but it’s also even more so the more you order. For instance, for the max order, you’ll only pay $2.12 per serving, which is nearly unheard of.
Wild-caught fish and shrimp
Each plan offers 14-16 weekly options
Keto, Paleo/Whole30, and Vegan plans available
Trifecta meals arrive fully prepared and ready to heat in your air fryer, stovetop, microwave, or conventional oven. If you love seafood but have trouble cooking it, Trifecta takes care of the problem for you with perfectly baked fish and shrimp that you just warm up and enjoy.
Pescatarians can combine Trifecta’s Plant-Based menu with seafood Meal Prep options. The Meal Prep menu allows you to choose your proteins, carbs, and vegetables to make your meals. You can order cooked salmon, cod, and shrimp to supplement Trifecta’s plant-based meals. It’s a healthy and tasty way to increase your plant intake while enjoying the benefits of lean marine-based protein.
Trifecta gives you the option of choosing your meals, or you can let Trifecta choose for you. You can also remove 1 ingredient from your meals from a choice of 9. These include eggs, sesame, mushrooms, and tree nuts.
Licensed dietitians design all Trifecta menus. Each meal is labeled with information concerning micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) and macros (protein, carbs, and fats). Most Trifecta meals contain between 300 and 500 calories per serving, so they’re great for people who are trying to lose weight or gain more muscle definition. All meals are gluten-free and contain no additives or artificial preservatives.
Trifecta’s website and app also provide subscribers with valuable online tools and resources. You can take advantage of Trifecta’s macro calculators, meal planning templates, clean-eating food lists, workout plans, and shopping lists. And you can also share your fitness journey with other subscribers in the Trifecta online community.
All Trifecta meals are made with organic produce and sustainably sourced seafood. Like many fitness-conscious meal delivery services, Trifecta offers simple meals with a few high-quality nutrient-dense ingredients. We tested Trifecta and found it to be a great choice for anyone looking to meet their fitness goals.
Trifecta’s meals start at $13.79 per serving. You can order between 7 and 21 breakfasts and main entrees. The maximum weekly order is 14 entrees and 7 breakfasts. Shipping is $9.99 per box, with additional charges for deliveries to Alaska or Hawaii.
Plant-based, vegan meals
Mains, lunches, breakfasts, and extras available
Meal kits or prepared meals
As Purple Carrot is a plant-based meal delivery service, all of its meals fit the pescatarian diet. However, keep in mind that you won’t find fish, eggs, or even dairy-based cheeses here if you like eating those items.
You get a very diverse selection of meal kits and prepared meals, depending on your skill level and desire to cook. When we tested Purple Carrot, we found there to be around 12 meal kits and 16 prepared meals each week.
You can get some pretty exciting craft vegan meals that look and taste great while being packed with veg. But do keep in mind that I wouldn’t exactly call any of its meals super kid-friendly. Thanks to an abundance of spices and exotic ingredients, picky eaters might not appreciate them too much.
For instance, you can get meals like Nashville Hot Fried Tofu Sandwiches with Creamy Cabbage and Pear Slaw, Stir-Fried Miso Ramen, Cavatappi Puttanesca, and more. Cuisines include Japanese, Italian, Middle Eastern, Indian, Thai, and even Cuban (which is super rare).
Additionally, Purple Carrot offers something called Less Prep meals. These are meal kits that don’t require as much time to cook. You’ll get pre-washed, portioned, and chopped ingredients. These are great for beginner chefs or those who don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen.
One thing I really love here is that the dishes are internationally-inspired. Let’s face it – even for the most die-hard, dedicated vegans, the idea of eating lentils and chickpeas for the rest of eternity can seem less than desirable.
You can get a pretty good selection of organic ingredients as well. These include beans, different nut milks, tofu, tempeh, vegan cheeses, and yogurts. It just doesn’t guarantee that all its other ingredients are certified organic.
Finally, there are 2 minimum orders – 1 for prepared meals and 1 for meal kits. The minimum order for meal kits is 3 meals of 2 servings per week, but you can order up to 4 meals of 4 servings each per week. And for prepared meals, you’ll have to order at least 6 per week, with a maximum of 10.
Your price-per-serving for the max order is only around $11.00 for meal kits. I find that quite reasonable for the level of quality you’re getting with Purple Carrot. The price for single-serve prepared meals is fixed, irrespective of order size.

Here are the main points I considered when I chose the best meal delivery service for pescatarians:
Convenience level: This list has both meal kits and ready-to-eat meals. You have to decide how much time you want to spend cooking and cleaning up. Factor’s prepared meals are a great choice for pescatarians who want to eat better but don’t want to spend a lot of time prepping meals or washing dishes.
Meal options: The meal delivery service you choose should have a wide array of meals that fit into the pescatarian lifestyle. All services on this list fit the criteria. HelloFresh has a dedicated pescatarian menu, so you'll have no trouble finding vegetarian and seafood meals you’ll love.
Ingredient filtering: It’s best to select a service that lets you quickly filter, sort, and see meal options that fit the pescatarian diet. Home Chef not only has great filtering options, but it also lets you replace many meats with seafood thanks to its Customize It feature.
Currently, the highest-rated prepared meal delivery service is Factor. It has a large assortment of prepared means, many of which are suitable for someone following the pescatarian lifestyle.
HelloFresh has a dedicated pescatarian menu and offers many seafood options. For instance, the Silky Sicilian Shrimp Penne or the veggie Middle Eastern Chickpea Bowls are great options for pescatarians.
The most affordable pescatarian meals come from Dinnerly. Though it doesn’t have a specific pescatarian meal plan, plenty of its meals fall into that category. For example, you could choose one of its 20+ veggie meals by finding the Vegetarian label or go for one of its many fish-based options like the Keto-Friendly Lemon-Oregano Tilapia.
