For many families, Easter is a cornerstone holiday. This means a lot of togetherness and happiness, but it also means a lot of work for whoever’s hosting dinner! If you’re worried about the money or effort involved in serving Easter dinner, a meal delivery service may be the solution.
Meal kits and prepared meals make cooking a breeze, so you can spend more quality time with your loved ones. I’ve done my research and put together a list of the best meal delivery services that offer Easter items.
Blue Apron is my frontrunner this Easter. Its gourmet dinners make it perfect for celebrations. However, each of these services has great options for Easter dinner, so check them all out! Whether you need breakfast, snacks, sides, or a lovely ham centerpiece, one is sure to suit your tastes.

I love Blue Apron’s gourmet meal kits and Prepared & Ready meals. This meal delivery service offers restaurant-quality dishes with clear and simple recipes. Blue Apron offers a subscription for weekly lunches and dinners as well as a marketplace where you can add à la carte items to your shipment.
I recommend Blue Apron’s Seasonal Brunch Box for an indulgent Easter morning. This bundle includes Maple Candied Bacon, Avocado Toast, Cheesy Asparagus Quiche, and a French Toast Bake. Save yourself time and energy so you can spend the day celebrating with your loved ones.
I like Blue Apron because it has so few downsides. We tried Blue Apron, and our biggest complaint was a lack of options for specialized diets. Marley Spoon has a wider range of diet-friendly meals on offer if that’s what you need.
The menu consists of meal kits, prepared meals, and add-ons. You can choose meal kits for 2 or 4 people and Prepared & Ready dishes for 1 person. You can customize some of the dishes. I think that for Easter, you should consider buying Premium-labeled meals. If you want to combine the convenience of the meal delivery service with home cooking, you can buy individual proteins besides soups, salads, and desserts from the Add-ons selection.
A subscription to this service is useful year-round. Even when there’s not a holiday to worry about, Blue Apron’s meal kits are a great way to make your life easier. You can save hours of shopping and cooking while still enjoying satisfying meals.
Blue Apron’s Market section often has special dishes during holidays. Check it out for an easy way to get food on the table. You may not find a traditional Easter dinner on the menu, but you’ll have access to a variety of seasonal recipes that will impress any palate.
All in all, Blue Apron is easy to love on Easter and year-round. If you consider yourself a foodie, you’ll enjoy the internationally-inspired menu. If not, you’ll still enjoy the convenience of Blue Apron’s informational recipe cards and step-by-step instructions.
This service starts at $4.00 per serving, but prices are higher on smaller orders. Subscription sizes start at 2 meal kits for 2 people, or 6 prepared meals per week.
There’s no maximum order since you can manually add meals. But you can’t mix and match both types of meals in the same box. You would have to place an order for 2 boxes or switch up your plan every week.
Protein swaps and protein packs available
Dozens of recipes each week

Home Chef is a meal delivery service for meat lovers. You can upgrade almost every dish on the standard weekly menu with custom proteins. This includes swapping ground turkey for ground beef or doubling up on your portion of salmon.
The standard weekly menu has a variety of options for all your holiday and everyday needs. Culinary Collection meals offer premium ingredients (at a per-serving upcharge) for special occasions. There’s also a Family Meal tag for dishes that can feed a holiday crowd.
In addition to customizable protein swaps, Home Chef also sells premium meats. You can add these as extras on any weekly shipment with your Home Chef subscription. Typical options include things like NY Strip Steak, Mahi-Mahi Fillets, and Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts.
Other extras, like appetizers and desserts, are also available. Unfortunately, you can’t order any of these directly. Home Chef requires you to subscribe to the service before purchasing any add-ons.
Extra items can make great additions to your Easter dinner. In the past, Home Chef has offered extra-special items during seasonal holidays. These range from simple desserts to an entire bone-in ham.
I love the number of ingredient filters on the menu. These make it easy to exclude nuts, shellfish, or other particulars from your shipments. It’s worth noting, though, that there’s a cross-contamination risk for people with serious allergies.
Home Chef has a large menu and many great features. It doesn’t always offer specific holiday items, but it has enough premium items to make any occasion special. I think almost anyone would enjoy this service around Easter and throughout the year.
In the past, there’s been a noticeable lack of vegetarian options. Even this is no longer an issue, however, as Home Chef appears to be expanding its dietary options. Find out more in our tested review.
Items on the menu are individually priced starting at $9.99 per serving. You can subscribe to 2-6 meals and 2, 4, or 6 servings of each.
Protein swaps available on more than half of the dishes
Over 100 unique recipes per week
Dietary options include low-calorie, vegetarian, and climatarian
Marley Spoon lets you channel the homemaking skills of Martha Stewart. The television personality has presented hundreds of impressive holiday meals over the years. So, you can bet her signature recipes will be a hit in your home.
This meal kit delivery service has an extensive menu, including everything from simple weeknight dinners to complex, indulgent recipes. There’s also a collection of non-dinner recipes including breakfasts, lunches, sides, and more.
Marley Spoon’s desserts are particularly impressive, giving you the opportunity to bake fresh cakes and other items. Baking is often much more difficult than cooking. But the precise measurements and informative recipes make it accessible to almost anyone.
The service has a delightful selection of Easter items to spice up your holiday. There are apps and classic treats like hot cross buns. Most impressive, though, is the show-stopping carrot cake that makes a perfect Easter dessert.
This service generally doesn’t offer protein packs or specialty meats, so you probably won’t be able to get your Easter ham here. But between the impressive range of cuisines and delicious dessert options, there’s still plenty to celebrate.
Marley Spoon’s festive appetizers and desserts make it a great meal delivery service for Easter. Whether you go traditional with ham and carrot cake or mix things up with a unique recipe from Marley Spoon’s menu, it’s hard to go wrong.
We tested Marley Spoon and loved the company’s eco-friendly mission. It uses sustainably sourced cardboard and offers climatarian dishes. Marley Spoon is also a carbon-neutral company.
The menu of over 100 items ensures that there’s something to enjoy any time of year. Marley Spoon uses seasonal produce for the best possible flavor. Recipes get an extra boost of flavor from Martha Stewart’s signature spice blends and sauces.
Pricing starts at $4.99 per serving. You can order 2-6 meals per week for 2 or 4 people. Smaller orders cost more per serving.
Kid-friendly meals and easy-prep dishes
More than 100 unique recipes per week
Dietary options include vegan, vegetarian, and dairy free
Not everybody has the means or desire to spend a ton on Easter dinner. Dinnerly’s affordable meal kits make it easy to save money during the holidays and year-round. It has the lowest per-serving cost of any service on this list.
Dinnerly offers a few special items to spruce up your Easter Sunday. The pictured Chicken Thighs and Artichokes is an affordable meal for the holiday. If you’re hosting a crowd, the service even offers an Easter Big Batch with double portions of festive pork tenderloin.
Owned by the same company as Marley Spoon, Dinnerly’s menu is similarly large. There are over 100 recipes to choose from, including dinners, lunches, desserts, and more. The impressive variety makes it hard to get bored of the menu.
You might decide to indulge in some specialty meals with the money you save. For a small per-serving upcharge, Dinnerly offers PremiYUM dishes that feature fancier ingredients. The low starting cost makes it easy to stomach this upcharge.
When we tried Dinnerly, we found that Dinnerly has an impressive amount of diet options. There are over a dozen vegetarian-friendly recipes on each weekly menu, including a few vegan dishes.
Compared to Blue Apron and other services offering elevated dining, Dinnerly’s dishes are simple. Most recipes have only 6 or 7 ingredients, and there aren’t many exotic flavors. On the plus side, the simple recipes are easy to prepare, and the ingredients themselves are high quality.
Overall, Dinnerly is perfect for anyone trying to save some money this Easter. The low cost means you can save your money for more important things. The Easter items on the menu mean you can still be as festive as you want.
Dinnerly’s impressively cheap meal kits start at $2.12 per serving. To be fair, though, smaller orders have a higher cost per serving. Subscription sizes range from 3-6 recipes per week for 2 or 4 people.Top Plans | ||||

These tips are what I looked for when ranking these services. Consider them when making your decisions too!
Easter Options: Many services don’t offer specific items for Easter. For example, Blue Apron includes seasonal items but not always holidays. Still, its spring options are perfect for the April holiday. On the other hand, Marley Spoon has several Easter items on its menu.
Ease of Prep: If you ask me, convenience is the most important reason to use a meal delivery service. Home Chef offers gourmet meals in its Culinary Collection, but these require a lot of hands-on time in the kitchen.
Cost: Discussing meal delivery services necessitates addressing the financial aspect. Dinnerly offers the most affordable meal kits on my list, but you might find that any of these services save you money. When compared to shopping at the grocery store, meal kits can be surprisingly economical.
Home Chef and Blue Apron are similar meal kit delivery services, but they have distinct differences. Blue Apron emphasizes gourmet meals and seasonal ingredients. Home Chef focuses on customizable meals and speedy recipes.
Dinnerly is owned by Marley Spoon and is not related to HelloFresh. Marley Spoon and HelloFresh are competitors in a similar price bracket. EveryPlate, a low-cost meal delivery service owned by HelloFresh, competes directly with Dinnerly.
